I only got this because I use a controller while gaming and needed a way to disconnect the mouse and keyboard during a gaming session without disabling them or manually unplugging them from the computer. This is perfect because now I can connect/disconnect the mouse and keyboard with the press of a button, The LED is great so I know the status of each device. The hub isn’t too sturdy on its own so I ended up using double sided take to hold it still (since it will be fixed to my desk anyway) Since the hub has extra ports, I also have my Mic, webcam, and xbox wireless adapter connected too.

It has a long cable so I could hide the web of cables and have more organization. It halso have a little hanger in the back to attach to a wall. The ports can be switched on/off, so you can manage the usb connected. Very good for the price, I would say, the plastic quality and design are good!

The connection wire is ‘long’ enough – each individual USB socket can be ‘turned on or off’ and is lit with a blue light when on. I plugged my Headphone Usb Fob into one, and can turn the headphones on or off.. I only needed one – but I’d purchase another if I needed it.

Other than the plug, that needs to be inserted only 3/4 of the way in, everything works well. I have to keep an eye on that plug, so it does not fall out of the receptacle, or does not go any deeper in than it should. Minor defect, but annoying. Cost it a star.

I bought this specifically for use with Vive trackers, which come from the factory with one receiver “dongle” per tracker. As I have 8 of these, it was getting to be quite a rats’ nest, and also SteamVR has a bad habit of arbitrarily reassigning trackers or controllers to different receivers without notice.
This product solved both issues: There are several spaces laid out next to each other – not too close – which allows me to get rid of all the factory USB bases and instead use this one hub, PLUS it has lighted, switched power for each socket, so I can turn on only the ones I plan to use, and can see from a distance whether I need to turn some on or off.
Definitely would recommend to others for this purpose. I’ve had no interference problems, and no more fiddling around to remember which device connects to which receiver.

I love this little device you can have all your devices plugged in, but until you hit the power button they don’t activate! Great length for the cord 4 feet gives me plenty of room to move it around.

I bought this to both expand the number of ports and to provide easy connect/disconnect of devices to my laptop so I wouldn’t have to keep getting up and moving plugs on the back of the dock. It works OK for my two webcams (one’s set up as a microscope) and for other simple devices, but most of the memory sticks and hard drives I plug into it disconnect and reconnect frequently and constantly. This is even with using an external power supply (buy your own, this hub doesn’t come with one). I like the power switches and those work great, but this isn’t much of a usable hub if it cannot support storage media.
I really wish I had sent this back right away instead of keeping it for a bit, I went past the 30 days when I got the ‘rona and had to stay home for a couple weeks.

Only problem was that one port did not work, so I had to return. They are sending me another one.
Otherwise, I liked it because the cord is long so I could use it away from the computer tower and put all cords away from my desk which was neat and tidy. It’s bit more pricy so I hope this will last.
